Multiparametric Analysis

Multiparametric analysis is a method for measuring and interpreting several biological features simultaneously to characterize complex systems more completely than a single measurement can. In immunology and infection research, it combines signals from the same cells or sample, such as surface markers, intracellular molecules, viability, and functional responses, then uses coordinated data analysis to distinguish cellular populations and states. This approach supports detailed immune-cell phenotyping, reveals heterogeneity during pathogen exposure, and links specific responses to disease progression or treatment. By integrating complementary parameters, it improves biomarker identification, clarifies host-pathogen interactions, and strengthens the analysis of experimental and clinical samples.
