Industrial Inspection

Industrial inspection is the systematic evaluation of materials, components, equipment, and processes to verify quality, safety, and compliance with engineering requirements. It combines visual examination, dimensional measurement, and nondestructive testing methods that identify surface or internal flaws without necessarily damaging the inspected object. In engineering, inspections support manufacturing quality control, preventive maintenance, and the assessment of structures such as pipelines, pressure vessels, bridges, and machinery. By detecting defects, wear, corrosion, or deviations from specifications early, industrial inspection helps reduce failures, improve reliability, document regulatory compliance, and guide decisions about repair, replacement, or continued operation.
