Latent Transfer Model

A latent transfer model is a machine-learning framework that transfers information encoded in a learned latent representation from one dataset, task, or engineering system to another. It typically maps complex observations into a lower-dimensional latent space, aligns representations across source and target domains, and uses the transferred features to support prediction or adaptation with less target data. In engineering, this approach can accelerate modeling of systems with limited measurements, improve performance across changing operating conditions, and support design optimization, fault diagnosis, and control. Its value lies in reusing structured knowledge while reducing the computational and experimental costs of training models from scratch.

Utero-tubal embryo transfer uses the utero-tubal junction as a barrier to prevent the embryo outflow that may occur when performing uterine transfer. Vasectomized males are required to obtain pseudopregnant recipients for embryo transfer. Both techniques are discussed.

Embryo Transfer Into Rabbit: A Procedure for Laparoscopy-Guided Transfer of Embryos Into Oviduct of Ovulating Recipient Female Rabbit Model

This video describes the technique of transferring embryos into the oviduct of a recipient female rabbit via Laparoscopy. It allows embryo remodeling in rabbits during its migration through the oviduct, eventually helping in successful implantation. This technique can also be used for stored embryos with good efficiency.
