Robotic Hand System

A robotic hand system is an engineered device that reproduces some functions of the human hand, such as grasping, positioning, and controlled movement, for medical care and rehabilitation. Sensors detect motion, force, or muscle activity, while actuators convert electronic commands into coordinated movements through mechanical joints and artificial fingers. In medicine, these systems support upper-limb prostheses, assistive devices, robotic rehabilitation, and research on human motor control. By providing adjustable assistance and measurable feedback, robotic hand systems can help patients practice purposeful movements, improve interaction with their environment, and advance the development of personalized technologies for restoring or augmenting hand function.
