Feasibility Acceptability Assessment

Feasibility acceptability assessment is a structured evaluation of whether a medical intervention can be delivered in practice and whether patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders consider it appropriate and worthwhile. It combines evidence about practical conditions, such as resources, workflow, recruitment, and adherence, with feedback gathered through surveys, interviews, observations, or pilot implementation. In medicine, these assessments help identify barriers, refine intervention design, and determine whether a larger clinical study or routine implementation is justified. By distinguishing technical practicality from stakeholder acceptance, the approach supports more efficient research planning and improves the likelihood that effective interventions will be adopted and sustained.
