The protocol consists of building a low-cost, programmable, temperature regulator. The temperature control system is combined with visualization techniques and internal pressure measurements. Behavior Collecting Sleep, Circadian, Fatigue, and Performance Data in Complex Operational Environments Lucia Arsintescu1, Kenji H. Kato2, Cassie J. Hilditch1, Kevin B. Gregory1, Erin Flynn-Evans3 1San Jose State University Research Foundation, 2ASRS Research and Technology Solutions, 3Fatigue Countermeasures Laboratory, NASA Ames Research Center Sleep loss and circadian misalignment contribute to numerous operational accidents and incidents. The effectiveness of countermeasures and work scheduling designs aimed at mitigating fatigue can be challenging to evaluate in operational environments. This manuscript summarizes an approach for collecting sleep, circadian, fatigue, and performance data in complex operational environments.
