Igg Beads

IgG beads are solid particles coupled to immunoglobulin G or designed to capture IgG, enabling selective isolation of antibodies, antigens, and antibody-associated complexes. Their specificity comes from antigen–antibody recognition, while protein A or protein G interactions with the IgG Fc region can anchor antibodies to the bead surface; magnetic formulations can then be collected with a magnet, washed, and eluted. These properties support immunoprecipitation, antibody purification, protein-complex analysis, and targeted cell separation. In biology research, IgG beads help convert molecular binding events into recoverable samples for biochemical analysis and improve the sensitivity and efficiency of immunoassays.

Transcytosis of IgG

2023

Transcytosis is the process in which molecules are internalized by endocytosis, transported across the cell, and released through exocytosis from the opposite end of the cell. Molecules such as insulin, immunoglobulins, and certain nutrients are transferred through the recycling endosomes by recycling and transcytosis. IgG molecules from a mother undergo transcytosis starting around 13 weeks of gestation. The amount of IgG transferred and entering the fetal blood circulation increases with...

Synthesis of human monoclonal antibodies is the first step in studies aimed at unraveling the pathophysiological mechanisms of auto-antibody-mediated immune responses. We have developed a protocol to generate recombinant human immunoglobulin G (IgG) monoclonal antibodies from blood sorted B cells, including B-cell isolation, antibody cloning and in vitro synthesis.

Generation of Two-color Antigen Microarrays for the Simultaneous Detection of IgG and IgM Autoantibodies

We describe here a method to generate customizable antigen microarrays that can be used for the simultaneous detection of serum IgG and IgM autoantibodies from humans and mice. These arrays allow for high-throughput and quantitative detection of antibodies against any antigens or epitopes of interest.
