Skin Changes Evaluation

Skin changes evaluation is the systematic clinical assessment of alterations in color, texture, shape, sensation, or surface integrity to characterize a lesion and guide diagnosis. Clinicians combine patient history with inspection and palpation, assessing features such as onset, progression, distribution, borders, symmetry, scale, ulceration, and associated symptoms; dermoscopy or biopsy may provide additional information when indicated. This process helps distinguish inflammatory, infectious, allergic, traumatic, and neoplastic conditions while identifying findings that require urgent attention. Consistent documentation and comparison over time support monitoring, treatment selection, and communication among healthcare professionals.

The protocol describes a new method to disaggregate human tissues and to create autologous micro-grafts that, combined with collagen sponges, give rise to human bio-complexes ready to use in the treatment of skin lesions. Further, this system preserves cell viability of micro-grafts at different times after mechanical disaggregation.

Here, we present a protocol to measure the vascular leakage induced by intradermal administration of permeability promoting agents into the murine skin. This technique can be used to determine the ability of molecules to promote or inhibit vascular leakage or to study the molecular mechanisms that regulate vascular permeability.
