Wataru Sato Kokoro Research Center Kyoto University Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Wataru Sato Wataru Sato is an Associate Professor at Kokoro Research Center at Kyoto University. He graduated from the Graduate School of Education, Kyoto University, 2002. After 4 years of a Researcher at the Department of Human and Environmental Studies and Department of Psychology of Kyoto University, he became an Associate Professor at the Primate Research Institute, Hakubi Center, and Graduate School of Medicine of Kyoto University.His work focuses on exploring the psychological and neural mechanisms of emotion and social interaction. He published more than 50 articles as the first author in refereed journals. Other honors: Japanese Psychological Association Awards for International Contributions to Psychology, 2011.
