Muscles of the Eye

각 눈에는 6개의 안외근, 3개의 불수의안구근, 1개의 일차 눈꺼풀 견인근이 있습니다.
4개의 안외근(상직근, 하근, 외측근, 내측근)은 시신경공을 둘러싸고 공막에 삽입하는 공통의 건륜에서 시작됩니다.
상경사근(superior oblique muscle)은 시신경공(optic foramen) 위에서 시작되고, 하사근(inferior oblique muscle)은 안와(orbit) 아래의 상악골에서 시작됩니다. 이 두 근육은 모두 공막에 측면으로 삽입됩니다.
이 6개의 근육은 함께 위, 아래, 옆 및 대각선 안구 움직임을 조정합니다.
또한, 접형골의 날개에서 시작하여 위 눈꺼풀에 삽입되는 levator palpebrae superioris는 눈꺼풀의 주요 견인기 역할을 하여 눈을 뜨는 움직임을 가능하게 합니다.
안면 근육인 안륜근(orbicularis oculi)에 길항제로서 눈꺼풀 폐쇄 또는 수축을 용이하게 합니다.

눈 근육

눈 근육은 눈의 움직임과 초점을 제어하는 정교한 구조로 시력에 필요한 정밀하고 신속한 조정이 가능합니다. 인간의 눈은 6개의 외안근, 3개의 안구내 근육, 1개의 눈꺼풀 견인근 등 10개의 근육으로 제어됩니다.

안구 근육

6개의 외안근이 안구를 둘러싸고 있으며 안구의 움직임을 조절합니다. 그들은 위, 아래, 왼쪽, 오른쪽 보기, 눈 회전 등 다양한 눈 동작을 담당합니다. 여기에는 눈을 바깥쪽으로 움직이는 외직근과 코를 향해 안쪽으로 가져오는 내직근이 포함됩니다. 상직근과 하직근은 각각 눈을 들어올리고 하강시키며, 상사근과 하사근은 눈을 회전시킵니다. 4개의 직근(상직근, 하직근, 외직근, 내직근)은 시공을 둘러싸고 공막에 부착되는 공통 힘줄 고리에서 시작됩니다. 그러나 상사근은 시신경공 위에서 시작하고 하사근은 안와 아래 상악골에서 시작하며 두 근육 모두 공막에 측면으로 연결됩니다. 이 근육은 동기화된 쌍으로 작동하여 초점을 맞추고 깊이 인식과 같은 중요한 기능을 가능하게 합니다.

안구 근육

안구내 근육은 눈 안에 위치하며 내부 조정을 담당합니다. 모양체근은 수정체의 모양을 조절하여 시야를 집중시키는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. 가까이 있는 물체에 대해서는 수정체를 두껍게 만들기 위해 수축하고 먼 거리에 있는 물체에 대해서는 이완합니다. 홍채에는 두 개의 근육이 있습니다. 밝은 빛에서 동공을 수축하여 빛의 유입을 줄이고 망막을 보호하는 괄약근과 낮은 조명 조건에서 더 많은 빛이 들어갈 수 있도록 동공을 넓혀 시력을 향상시키는 확장근입니다.

일차 눈꺼풀 견인기

이 외에도 눈꺼풀올림근(levator palpebrae Superioris)이라는 근육이 있는데, 이는 접형골의 날개에서 시작하여 위쪽 눈꺼풀에 붙어 있습니다. 이 근육은 눈을 뜨는 역할을 담당합니다. 이는 눈꺼풀을 닫거나 돌출시키는 역할을 하는 안면 근육인 안륜근에 작용합니다.

The eye muscles control movement, focus, and eyelid opening. The human eye uses ten muscles: six extraocular muscles, three intraocular muscles, and one main eyelid retractor muscle.

The six extraocular muscles sit around the eyeball and move it in different directions. The lateral rectus pulls the eye outward, and the medial rectus turns it inward toward the nose. The superior rectus and inferior rectus move the eye up and down, while the superior oblique and inferior oblique rotate the eye. The four recti begin at a common tendinous ring that surrounds the optic foramen and attach to the sclera, the white outer layer of the eye. The superior oblique begins above the optic foramen, and the inferior oblique begins on the maxilla below the orbit. Both attach laterally to the sclera.

These muscles work in coordinated pairs. Their teamwork helps the eyes move smoothly and stay focused. This coordination also supports depth perception.

The intraocular muscles are inside the eye and make internal adjustments. The ciliary muscle changes the shape of the lens for focusing. It contracts to thicken the lens for nearby objects and relaxes for distance viewing. The iris also contains two muscles. The sphincter muscle narrows the pupil in bright light to reduce light entry and protect the retina. The dilator muscle widens the pupil in low light so more light can enter.

The levator palpebrae superioris is the main eyelid retractor muscle. It starts in the wing of the sphenoid bone and attaches to the upper eyelid. Its job is to open the eye. It works against the orbicularis oculi, the facial muscle that closes or protrudes the eyelid.
