Collection Overview

The rotator cuff is a critical component of the shoulder joint. It consists of the subscapularis, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor, which together maintain the joint's dynamic stability. Rotator cuff injuries are common and lead to shoulder pain and mobility issues. Typically, rotator cuff tears require surgical treatment. Currently, arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery is the preferred approach for treating these tears, often involving repair, reconstruction, and various biological enhancements. This Methods Collection aims to analyze the characteristics of rotator cuff tear surgeries, focusing on various techniques, indications, contraindications, advantages, disadvantages, and key technical aspects. The goal is to provide improved surgical treatment options for rotator cuff tears.
