In Vitro Experiment Model

An in vitro experiment model is a laboratory representation of a biological, chemical, or physical system studied outside its natural environment, allowing researchers to isolate variables and test hypotheses under controlled conditions. It works by placing selected components in a defined setup and regulating factors such as temperature, concentration, pressure, geometry, or applied forces while measuring observable responses. In physics, in vitro models help investigate processes including transport, fluid flow, soft-matter behavior, and interactions at interfaces without the complexity of a complete organism or environment. Their results support quantitative model validation, reveal governing mechanisms, and guide the design of experiments, materials, and biomedical technologies.
