Endoscope-assisted Acdf

Endoscope-assisted anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) is a minimally invasive spinal procedure that relieves pressure on cervical spinal nerves or the spinal cord while stabilizing the affected segment. Through an anterior neck approach, the surgeon uses an endoscope for illuminated, magnified visualization, removes a herniated disc or bone spurs, decompresses neural structures, and places an implant to maintain disc height and promote fusion. This technique is used to treat cervical radiculopathy and myelopathy caused by degenerative disc disease or other compressive lesions. Its clinical value includes targeted decompression, improved visualization through a smaller working corridor, and potential reductions in tissue disruption.
