Mendelian Inheritance and Tetrad Analysis

Description

Genetic crosses help scientists study how traits are passed from one generation to the next. In a genetic cross, two organisms are mated on purpose so researchers can follow how parental DNA is recombined in the offspring. This makes it possible to infer gene function, gene interactions, and gene location.
