Collection Overview

Endoscopy not only helps doctors diagnose various gastrointestinal diseases, but also serves as a key method for early detection and treatment of gastrointestinal neoplasms. This Methods Collection aims to explore the diagnosis application of endoscopy in the gastrointestinal diseases from a comprehensive perspective, including gastric submucosal masses, esophageal diseases, gastric mucosal lesions, early gastrointestinal tumors, adenomatous polyps, and others. In addition, we will focus on endoscopic treatment methods for early gastrointestinal tumors, including artificial intelligence assisted screening, endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER), magnifying endoscopic examination (early cancer screening), endoscopic ultrasound examination and diagnosis, among others. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive perspective to enhance understanding, promote the popularization and technological innovation of endoscopic screening, improve the diagnosis of early gastrointestinal tumors, strive for better treatment, and benefit patients.
