Vnf Onboarding

VNF onboarding is the engineering process of preparing a Virtual Network Function (VNF) for deployment and management within a Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) environment. It typically packages the function and its software images with a VNF descriptor, validates metadata and dependencies, and registers these artifacts with an NFV orchestrator, which allocates compute, storage, and networking resources during instantiation. Effective onboarding enables repeatable deployment, lifecycle management, scaling, and integration of virtualized firewalls, routers, and other network services, helping operators reduce manual configuration while improving service agility, consistency, and operational control.

Reaction Stoichiometry

2020

A balanced chemical equation provides a great deal of information in a very succinct format. Chemical formulas provide the identities of the reactants and products involved in the chemical change, allowing classification of the reaction. Coefficients provide the relative numbers of these chemical species, allowing a quantitative assessment of the relationships between the amounts of substances consumed and produced by the reaction. These quantitative relationships are known as the reaction’s...

We have developed an automated cell culture and interrogation platform for micro-scale cell stimulation experiments. The platform offers simple, versatile, and precise control in cultivating and stimulating small populations of cells, and recovering lysates for molecular analyses. The platform is well suited to studies that use precious cells and/or reagents.

Functional Interrogation of Adult Hypothalamic Neurogenesis with Focal Radiological Inhibition

The function of adult-born mammalian neurons remains an active area of investigation. Ionizing radiation inhibits the birth of new neurons. Using computer tomography-guided focal irradiation (CFIR), three-dimensional anatomical targeting of specific neural progenitor populations can now be used to assess the functional role of adult neurogenesis.

Source: Sina Shahbazmohamadi and Peiman Shahbeigi-Roodposhti-Roodposhti, School of Engineering, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT Alloys with grain size less than 100 nm are known as nanocrystaline alloys. Due to their enhanced physical and mechanical properties, there is an ever-increasing demand to employ them in various industries such as semiconductor, biosensors and aerospace. To improve the processing and application of nanocrystalline alloys, it is necessary to develop close to 100%...
