Tui Na Massage

Tui Na massage is a traditional Chinese therapeutic practice that uses structured manual techniques to address pain, stiffness, and impaired movement, making it relevant to complementary medicine and rehabilitation. Practitioners apply methods such as kneading, rolling, pressing, stretching, and joint mobilization to muscles, soft tissues, acupoints, and pathways described in traditional Chinese medicine. Treatment may aim to relax tense tissue, support local circulation, and improve range of motion while considering the patient’s symptoms and physical condition. In clinical and educational settings, Tui Na provides a framework for studying hands-on care, musculoskeletal symptom management, and the integration of traditional practices with contemporary health research.
