Vascular Changes Tracking

Vascular changes tracking is the systematic monitoring of how blood vessels alter in structure or function over time, supporting assessment of circulation and disease progression. It works by comparing vascular observations at multiple time points, such as changes in vessel diameter, blood flow, perfusion, or wall characteristics, to identify trends and deviations from baseline. In medicine, this approach helps evaluate conditions that affect the vasculature, assess responses to treatment, and detect clinically meaningful changes earlier. Consistent tracking also supports longitudinal research by linking vascular remodeling and hemodynamic changes with patient outcomes, improving understanding of cardiovascular and other vascular disorders.

Source: Laboratory of Jonathan Flombaum—Johns Hopkins University In a staggeringly complex and engaging world, it is crucial to selectively process some stimuli at the expense of others. Experimental psychologists call this ability attention. Specifically, visual attention refers to the ability to selectively process aspects of a visual scene. Many paradigms used to study visual attention involve brief, punctuated, and repeated trials. However, everyday situations often place sustained demands...

Tools used for visualizing vascular regeneration require methods for contrasting the vascular trees. This film demonstrated a delicate injection technique used to achieve optimal contrasting of the vascular trees and illustrate the potential benefits resulting from a detailed analysis of the resulting specimen using µCT and histological serial sections.

Monocytes are key regulators of innate immunity and play a critical role in the renewal of the peripheral mononuclear phagocytic system and in case of inflammation. This manuscript describes the procedure of real time imaging of the mouse calvaria bone marrow to study the monocyte mobilisation mechanism.
