Mars Mission

Mars missions are coordinated spaceflight endeavors designed to transport spacecraft, instruments, or crews to Mars, where they investigate the planet and demonstrate technologies for future exploration. Engineering teams plan trajectories around launch windows, use propulsion and navigation systems for interplanetary travel, and manage the demanding sequence of atmospheric entry, descent, and landing before deploying surface or orbital systems. These missions support studies of Martian geology, climate, water history, and potential habitability while testing autonomous operations, communications, power generation, and resource utilization. Their results guide spacecraft design, improve mission reliability, and inform long-term plans for sustained human activity beyond Earth.
