Ao contrário de partículas de HIV-1 livre de células, as células T CD4 + infectadas são eficazmente detectada pelas células dendríticas plasmocitoides (PDCs). Este manuscrito descreve um método em que as células mononucleares do sangue periférico (PBMCs) ou pDCs isoladas são co-cultivadas com o HIV-1 de células T infectadas para avaliar a detecção inata por pDCs como avaliada por libertação de IFN tipo I.
