Collection Overview

Over the past decade, novel surgical procedures have been developed and used in spine surgery. In addition, some animal models have been modified to suit in vivo studies in the field of spine research, in particular, intervertebral disc degeneration and regeneration. Despite the fast development of these techniques used in the area of the spine, including clinical scenarios and laboratory settings, no collections of them have been released in terms of visualized videos so far. As is well known, videos can make readers easier to understand clinical techniques and experimental methods, compared with traditional paper articles. As such, this special issue is launched and will focus on the techniques developed in the studies of spine surgery and related area. It will collect the techniques used in clinical scenarios, as well as in the laboratory. Any video article related to spine research is welcomed.
