Bij vroeg stadium maagkanker is het doel van de operatie om precies de distale maag, inclusief de primaire tumor, te verwijderen. Om dit te doen, is nauwkeurige lokalisatie van de tumor cruciaal, vooral bij volledig laparoscopische chirurgie. Dit protocol beschrijft een procedure voor intraoperatieve gastroscopie bij volledige laparoscopische subtotale gastrectomie.
