Purification of self-assembling protein nanoparticles (SAPNs) via affinity chromatography enables scalable production of trimeric epitope-presenting platforms for vaccine development. This method supports target validation by delivering homogeneous, contaminant-reduced antigen candidates suitable for immunogenicity screening. The workflow enhances predictive confidence in early discovery by providing reproducible, quantifiable protein yields for downstream formulation and mechanistic studies.
The purification method fits within the early discovery to preclinical continuum, supporting antigen production after gene expression and before formulation or animal studies.
