Denne studien beskriver mikroskopisk overvåking av pneumococcus overholdelse av von Willebrand faktor strenger produsert på overflaten av differensiert menneskelige primære endothelial celler under skjær stress i definerte strømningsforhold. Denne protokollen kan utvides til detaljert visualisering av spesifikke celle strukturer og kvantifisering av bakterier ved å bruke differensial immunostaining prosedyrer.
