Biokompatible pH responsive sol-gel nanosensorer kan bli innlemmet i poly (melkesyre-co-glykolsyre) (PLGA) elektrospunnede stillaser. De produserte egenrapportering stillaser kan brukes for in situ overvåking av microenviron forhold mens dyrking celler på stillaset.
