ここでは、骨再生能力の観点から骨置換材料を評価することを目的として、ウサギの外科的プロトコルを提示する。ウサギの頭蓋骨に固定されたPEEKシリンダーを使用することにより、骨伝導、骨化誘導、骨形成および材料によって誘発される血管形成は、生きているまたは安楽死した動物のどちらかで評価されてもよい。
