Nous présentons la synthèse d'un hydrogel split-induite par une intéine de protéines. Les éléments constitutifs de cet hydrogel sont deux copolymères de protéines contenant chacun une sous-unité d'une protéine trimérique qui sert d'agent de réticulation et une moitié d'une intéine dissociée. Le mélange des deux copolymères de protéine déclenche une réaction de trans-épissage d'intéine, ce qui donne une unité de polypeptide qui s'auto-assemble en un hydrogel. Cet hydrogel est très stable au pH et à la température, compatible avec des solvants organiques, et incorpore facilement les protéines globulaires fonctionnels.
