Award-winning health science librarian Brandy King is Director of Information Services at the Arnold P. Gold Foundation. The organization’s goal, broadly speaking, is to champion “the human connection in healthcare.” King also works closely with nonprofits and small businesses with information management needs. With a background in health care, social media, database development and more, King specializes in creative thinking to solve information management challenges. Given her extensive background, she has some interesting things to say about what a librarian’s task is today.
