‘Tis the season… for holiday parties! This year, JoVE’s annual end-of-year gathering took place at a speakeasy around the corner from our Cambridge headquarters. As is tradition at the JoVE holiday party, we complied and shared some of our favorite superlatives. This year’s Best Out-of-Context Line from a Manuscript was awarded to Step 1) Determine which end of the mouse is the nose, and our Favorite NIH Grant Title went to Fat Dogs and Coughing Horses: Animal Contributions Towards a Healthier Citizenry. With food and drink in hand, we recapped some impressive growth stats from 2014: subscription sales increased 34% as compared to last year, and we published 31% more articles in 2014 than in 2013. Looking towards 2015, we expect to see plenty more growth and anticipate the release of some exciting new products, so be sure to stay tuned!
