A dozen staff members from JoVE recently trekked to Chicago, IL for one of our favorite events of the year, the Medical Library Association (MLA) annual conference. From May 16-21, 1600+ attendees gathered to share ideas about how to best “build our information future.” We were proud to debut our expanded exhibition space and announce the newest addition to our Science Education database, Fields of Study in Neuroscience, which will launch later this summer.
Monday evening, our invited guests were wined and dined among gorgeous pieces of art at the Gruen Galleries in Chicago’s River North district. The event was a heartfelt “thank you” to librarians for their direct contribution to JoVE’s rapid growth, and a celebration of their commitment to innovative research resource management. A special thanks goes out to the Chicago Diamond Trio and our guest blogger, comedian Adam Ruben, for providing entertainment throughout the evening!
