PhD Student

Adrianna Kolberg started as a PhD student in the AFM Group at the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (Dr. Balzer, Prof. Dr. Hugel) right after her graduation (MSc. Chemistry) in 2017. The main focus of her research was the investigation of single molecule systems and polymeric surfaces with different AFM based methods. Her biggest challenge was to develop a reliable and reproducible technique for covalent binding of different types of single molecules to AFM cantilever tips. After three years of hard work and many successfully finished projects, Adrianna Kolberg is going to graduate in 2020.
