She joined the MMB (Microtechnology, Medicine, and Biology) laboratory later that year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a postdoctoral researcher. Her interests include: using microfluidic organotypic models to study the breast cancer tumor microenvironment and building blood vessel models to inform precision medicine of renal cancers. Since 2021 she has a shared appointment with the Ponik lab, which focuses on understanding the structural and mechanical features of the breast tumor microenvironment, and how those factors contribute to breast cancer progression and metastasis.
