Expertise

Deposition of monometallic and bimetallic nanoparticles of on reducible and non reducible powder oxides

Synthesis of metal oxides, pure and doped.

Catalysis focused on exhaust gas reactions (CO oxidation, NO reduction, total oxidation)

Catalysis focused on the production and purification of H2 (Water Gas Shift reaction (WGS) and preferential CO oxidation (PROX))

Photocatalytic degradation of organic compounds.

Photocatalytic production of hydrogen.

I have been in charge of 18 founded projects and currently I’m in charge of 5 funded projects: PAPIIT-UNAM IN103513 (Bimetallic catalysts supported on reducible oxides as catalysts for total oxidation and hydrogen purification reactions), ECOS-ANUIES-SEP, CONACYT, M10-P01 “Characterization and catalytic evaluation of Au based bimetallic catalysts”, CONACYT-MINCYT (Argentina) Bimetallic Au-M (M=Cu, Ir) for hydrogen purification reactions (PROX y WGS)”, a CONACYT-CONICET(Argentina) and a CONACYT-“Ciencia Básica” project.I’m in charge at CCADET of SENER-CONACYT HDS # 117373 projet “Catalysts for ultra low sulfur oils”.
