She completed her PhD in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine under the mentorship of Dr. Edward L. Nelson, MD.Her research interests are 1) To better understand cancer progression and metastasis at the cellular and molecular levels and 2) To develop novel bio-, nano- and micro-technologies for translation into clinical use.
