在对 620 名新生儿的代表性分析中,大多数测量的免疫介质表现出低检出率。几乎一半的样本的 IFN γ 水平低于检测下限,而不到 1% 的样本的 TNF α、CCL4 和 TGF β 水平低于检测下限。如热图所示,检测到的 20 个介质水平具有很强的多重共线性。
