Abstract
Måling inflammationsrelaterede inducerede ændringer i tærskler for bagpote tilbagetrækning fra mekanisk tryk er en nyttig teknik til at vurdere ændringer i smerte opfattelsen hos gnavere. Kan måles Tilbagetrækning tærskler først ved baseline og derefter følge lægemiddel gift, skade, allergen, eller på anden måde fremkaldte betændelse ved at anvende en nøjagtig kraft på meget specifikke områder af huden. En elektronisk von Frey apparatet tillader præcis vurdering af mus potetilbagetrækning tærskler hind, som ikke er begrænset af de tilgængelige endeløse størrelser i modsætning til klassisk von Frey målinger. Den lethed og hurtighed af målingerne giver mulighed for inkorporering af vurderingen af taktile følsomhed resultater i forskellige modeller for hurtig indsættende inflammatorisk og neuropatisk smerte som flere målinger kan foretages inden for en kort periode. Eksperimentelle målinger for de enkelte gnavere kan internt styres mod individuelle baseline svar og udelukkelseskriterier nemtetableret for at standardisere baseline svar inden for og på tværs af eksperimentelle grupper. Således målinger ved hjælp af en elektronisk von Frey apparat udgør et nyttigt ændring af de veletablerede klassiske von Frey filament-baserede assays til gnaver mekanisk allodyni, der også kan anvendes til andre pattedyr modeller ikke-menneskelige.
