Die kristallisationsgesteuerte Selbstmontage (CDSA) zeigt die einzigartige Fähigkeit, zylindrische Nanostrukturen aus schmalen Längenverteilungen herzustellen. Gezeigt werden die organokatalyzierte ringöffnende Polymerisation von '-Caprolacton und die anschließenden Kettenverlängerungen von Methylmethacrylat und N,N-Dimethylacrylamid. Ein lebendiges CDSA-Protokoll, das monodisperse Zylinder bis zu einer Länge von 500 nm erzeugt, wird skizziert.
