Cristiano Di Benedetto

Cristiano Di Benedetto is an electron microscopy lab technician at CFIM, Copenhagen University, Denmark. He received his undergraduate degree and Ph.D. from Universitá degli Studi di Milano, Italy.

During his training he developed a deep focus on research on marine animals (echinoderms) from ultrastructural point of view. As a post-doctoral fellow (2015-2017) in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, he improved his skills in ultrastructural analysis (transmission-TEM and scanning-SEM electron microscopy) using cancer stem cells as experimental models. In 2017 he moved to Core Facility for Integrate Microscopy, CFIM, at Copenhagen University, Denmark.
