Danielle E. Talbot Biology Department Loyola University Chicago Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Danielle E. TalbotUndergraduate Danielle was an undergraduate researcher in the Mierisch lab at Loyola University Chicago (2015-2019). She has broad research interests but has a special passion for developmental and stem cell biology. During Danielle's time in the lab, she was able to explore how different genes play a role in the development of different organ systems using fruit flies as a model. Additionally, Danielle was awarded an Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award during the Weekend of Excellence in 2019. She graduated from Loyola in May of 2019 and will be pursuing her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in the fall.
