Emma Laporte Department of Development and Regeneration KU Leuven Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Emma Laporte Emma Laporte is a PhD student in the Department of Development and Regeneration at KU Leuven in Belgium. She received her masters degree, magna cum laude, in Biomedical Sciences at that same university.During her training she developed a keen interest in stem cell biology, regeneration and 3D modeling of tissues. As a PhD student in the lab of Hugo Vankelecom she studies the biology of pituitary stem cells in the neonatal maturation phase of the gland, using an in-house developed pituitary organoid model.
