Yen Xuan Ngo

I am currently working as research student in International Research Center for Medical Sciences (IRCMS) in Kumamoto University. I am also a senior Ph.D. student of the Doctoral Program in Human Biology, University of Tsukuba.

During my study in undergrate in Biotechnolgy, I found my interests on tissue stem cell, which led me join Dr. Yanagisawa's Laboratory and later on Dr. Sada's Lab. Since then, I have been studying epithelial stem cell and their dynamics in skin and oral mucosa as well as understading molecular drivers or regulatory mechanisms of these stem cell populations in homeostasis.
