冲洗完成后，通过微芯片泵送空气以去除剩余的乙醇。用蠕动泵去除残留溶液后，将制备的微芯片存放在拉链袋中以备后续使用。在逐步生长过程中，接触角测量用于监测表面变化。
接触角的变化清楚地表明，在改性过程中发生了表面变化。最终产品的接触角为 80.3 度。通过激光烧蚀电感耦合等离子体质谱分析证实了改性 PMMA 上碳氯部分的存在。
