कॉफी बेरी बोरर (सीबीबी) के खिलाफ कीटनाशकों की विषाक्तता का परीक्षण करने के लिए ग्रीन कॉफी फल (जीएफ) का उपयोग करके एक विधि विकसित की गई थी। कीटनाशकों या विषाक्त पदार्थों को सीबीबी संक्रमण से पहले या बाद में कीटाणुरहित जीएफ पर लागू किया गया था। अन्य मापदंडों के अलावा कीट मृत्यु दर, पुनरावृत्ति और प्रजनन क्षमता का मूल्यांकन किया गया।
