Varpu Elenius Department of Pediatrics University of Turku Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Varpu Elenius Dr Varpu Elenius is an Adjunct Professor in Department of Pediatrics in Turku University Hospital, Finland. Dr Elenius recieved her undergraduate honors and Ph.D in University of Turku, Finland. As a post-doctoral fellow in Professor Merton Bernfileld's laboratory at The Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, she studied tissue and lung injury. Currently, she works as a pediatric pulmonologist in Department of Pediatrics in Turku University Hospital, which is a center of excellence in European Reference Network of Rare Lung Diseases (ERN-Lung Network).
