Drosophila och däggdjur hematopoetiska system har många gemensamma drag, vilket gör Drosophila en attraktiv genetisk modell för att studera blodbildningen. Här kan vi visa dissekering och montering av stora larver hematopoetiska organ för immunohistokemi. Vi beskriver också metoder för att analysera olika larver hematopoetiska fack inklusive cirkulerande hemocyter och fastsittande kristallceller.
