כאן נתאר פרוטוקול לחקור את prenylation ואת guanosine-5'-טריפוספט (GTP)-טעינה של GTPase רו. פרוטוקול זה מורכב משתי שיטות מפורט, כלומר assay ממברנה fractionation ו- immunosorbent של GTPase-מקושרים. הפרוטוקול יכול לשמש כדי למדוד את prenylation ואת GTP העמסת שונים GTPases קטנים אחרים.
