We presenteren een protocol voor het genereren van een isotopisch gezuiverde lage-energie 229th Ion Beam van een 233U bron. Deze ionen straal wordt gebruikt voor de directe detectie van de 229mvan de grondtoestand verval via de interne-conversie verval kanaal. We meten ook de interne conversie levensduur van 229mth.
