Le but du protocole est de fournir une méthode pour produire des lésions neuronales non invasives dans le cerveau. La méthode utilise l’échographie focalisée guidée par résonance magnétique (MRgFUS) pour ouvrir la barrière hémato-encéphalique d’une manière transitoire et focale, afin de fournir une neurotoxine circulante au parenchyme cérébral.
