Mikrobielle biofilmer danner komplekse arkitekturer ved interfaser og udvikler sig til meget skala afhængige rumlige mønstre. Her introducerer vi et eksperimentelt system (Hard-og software) til automatiseret erhvervelse af 3D optisk kohærens tomografi (OCT) datasæt. Dette værktøjsæt tillader ikke-invasiv og multi-skala karakterisering af biofilm morfogenese i rum og tid.
