Mikrobielle Biofilme bilden komplexe Architekturen an Interphasen und entwickeln sich zu stark maßstabsabhängigen Raummustern. Hier stellen wir ein experimentelles System (Hard- und Software) zur automatisierten Erfassung von 3D-Datensätzen zur optischen Kohärenztomographie (OCT) vor. Dieses Toolset ermöglicht die nichtinvasive und multiskalige Charakterisierung der Biofilmmorphogenese in Raum und Zeit.
